Your child may choose to consider applying for a school wide job at Saddle Peak. Please help them select a job that interests them. Please note, some jobs would require students to be at school early or later than regular hours so please choose accordingly. Your child will fill out an application and return to the office to be considered for an interview. Descriptions of the jobs can be found below.

  • Cross Walk Morning
    • Join us at school at 7:45 AM one day a week to assist teachers in leading the crosswalk. Students will be provided with safety vests and must remain on the sidewalk at all times, avoiding the street.
  • Cross Walk Afternoon
    • Stay at school until 3:30 PM one day a week to help teachers with the afternoon crosswalk. Safety vests will be provided, and students must stay on the sidewalk at all times.
  • Bathroom Monitors
    • During 1-2 recess periods each week, students will monitor the bathrooms to ensure that all students are behaving responsibly and respectfully.
  • Playground Helpers
    • During recess, assist fellow students in resolving minor conflicts using Kelso’s Choices. If a problem escalates, an adult will be available for support.
  • Morning Car Duty
    • Arrive at school at 7:45 AM one day a week to greet students during car drop-off. Students will wear safety vests and must remain on the sidewalk.
  • Librarian Assistant
    • One day a week, help Mrs. Van Order and Mrs. Olden with various tasks in the library.
    • Chill Zone Monitor
  • Support the recess staff in ensuring students are safe and responsible while in the chill zone during recess.
  • Chill Zone Janitor
    • During recess, assist by hanging up coats that are left in the chill zone.
  • Kids Pack Helper
    • Every Friday, assist Mrs. Hickok in distributing Kidspacks and help unload them from the delivery truck.
  • ROAR Prize Helper
    • Every Friday, participate in our school-wide PAW program by managing the prize bin.
  • Scuffinator
    • Assist the janitor in cleaning scuffs off the tile floor.
  • Playground Equipment Maintenance
    • Help keep playground equipment in good condition by inflating balls.
  • Weather Reporter
    • Contribute to school announcements every Monday as our designated meteorologist.
  • Lunch Forecaster
    • Help with announcements every Friday regarding the lunch menu for the upcoming week.
  • Lost and Found Monitor
    • Ensure the lost and found area is clean and organized.
  • Morning Greeter
    • Welcome students each morning as they arrive at school to start everyone’s day with a smile!
  • Bus Helper
    • Greet students as they exit the bus in the morning one day a week.
  • Lunch Helper
    • Assist the lunch staff in serving students during Zone 1 of your lunch recess.
