Meal Price Adjustment: What You May See on Your Child's Account

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to let you know about a meal price update that may affect what you see in Infinite Campus.

On September 30, the district recognized that the meal price increases adopted by our Board in June 2026 had not been updated in Infinite Campus for the 2026-2027 school year. We corrected this today, October 1. The new prices are now working correctly. However, the correction is displaying in a confusing way on student accounts. We have been working with our Infinite Campus team, and we believe this is due to a software update Infinite Campus completed last night.

When a meal is purchased, the system first records a charge at the old price. It then voids that charge behind the scenes and re-charges the meal at the correct, updated price. As a result, you may see several entries for a single meal in your child's Journal Transaction Period. For example, a high school meal that was priced at $3.75 now shows:

These entries are posted at the same moment, so the running balance column may look out of order. The net result is a single charge at the correct price. The attached screenshot shows an example. Meal prices differ by school level (elementary, middle and high), so the amounts on your child's account will depend on the school level they attend.
